Our community transformation programs focus on holistic development, addressing the social, economic, and educational needs of the communities we serve. We organize workshops and training sessions on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and vocational skills, enabling community members to become self-sufficient and economically empowered.

Dance Ministry

Expressing Joy and Culture through Dance

Dance is a vibrant expression of culture and identity. PAD’s Dance Ministry celebrates this art form by promoting cultural heritage and providing a platform for creative expression.

Our Dance Ministry conducts classes, workshops, and performances that showcase traditional and contemporary dance styles. These activities not only preserve cultural heritage but also provide participants with an outlet for self-expression and physical fitness.

One of our standout programs is the PEER Global dance contest which the group came victorious from in 2023, which has brought together young dancers from diverse backgrounds to perform at local and regional events. The joy and pride these dancers feel is evident in every performance.

Farming Initiatives

Empowering Communities through Sustainable Farming

Agriculture is a cornerstone of many communities, and at PAD, we are committed to promoting sustainable farming practices that empower local farmers and enhance food security, especially among the youth.

Our farming initiatives provide training on modern agricultural techniques, organic farming, and resource management. We also support community gardens and cooperatives, helping young farmers increase their yields and improve their livelihoods. One of our successful projects is the backyard farm, where youth who come to the office weekly have been able to double their productivity knowledge through the implementation of sustainable practices. This has led to increased impact and improved food security for their families. Join us to expand this program to support our farming initiatives.

Music Ministry

Bringing Communities Together through the Power of Music

Music has the unique ability to unite people and uplift spirits. At PAD, our Music Ministry leverages this power to foster community spirit and spread messages of hope and positivity. Our Music Ministry called PEER Youth Ministries conducts workshops, school concerts, and community sing-alongs such as Saturday spontaneous worship experience, bringing people together and promoting social cohesion. Through these events, we not only nurture local talent but also use music as a medium to address social issues and inspire positive change coupled with teachings and nurturing young talents.

PAD now runs Youtube and Spotify music channels under the name Peer Youth Ministries and the team produces albums annually.  In one of our recent music concerts, we partnered with Arua Christ Church and saw a diverse group of participants coming together to perform and celebrate the presence of God, their shared love for music, and their will to serve. The event was a testament to the unifying power of music and its ability to transcend barriers.

Prison Outreach

Transforming Lives through Prison Outreach

PAD’s Prison Outreach program is dedicated to restoring hope and dignity to incarcerated individuals. We believe in the power of rehabilitation and the potential for every individual to make positive changes in their lives.

Our program offers educational and vocational training, counselling services, spiritual support, and support for reintegration into society. We also conduct workshops on conflict resolution, life skills, and personal development.

We seek to establish further integration systems for the inmates through discipleship, training in communication skills, and more. We intend to have young people who have a testimony of change aimed at transforming their communities.

We seek partnerships to support our Prison Outreach program, enabling us to continue providing these essential services and expanding our reach to more correctional facilities.  Support our Prison Outreach program and help us restore hope and dignity to incarcerated individuals. Establishing a Youth Hub

Creating Safe Spaces for Youth Development

At PAD, we recognize the importance of providing young people with safe and supportive environments where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Our initiative to establish a Youth Hub is aimed at creating such spaces for the youth in our communities.

The Youth Hub will offer a variety of programs, including mentorship, skills training, recreational activities, and counseling services. It will be a place where young people can receive guidance, build life skills, and engage in positive social interactions.

Our vision is to see the Youth Hub become a beacon of hope and opportunity for young people, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and transition into responsible adults.

We are looking for partners to join us to together bring this vision to life. Your support can provide the resources needed to establish and maintain the Youth Hub, making a lasting impact on the lives of young people as West Nile struggles with issues affecting young people.

PAD already uses its current office to offer these varied youth programs, but the desire and demand for these services among the youth has grown significantly and we now need a separate Youth Hub.  Partner with us to create safe spaces for youth development. University / Institutional Scholarships

Unlocking Potential through Education

Education is a powerful tool for change, and at PAD, we believe in investing in the potential of young minds. Our University/Institutional Scholarship Program aims to provide deserving students with the opportunity to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams as these levels of education is closely aligned to the job markets in Uganda.

Through this program, we have supported dozens of students from underprivileged backgrounds, enabling them to attend prestigious universities and institutions. Pictured here is Doreen.  Doreen’s hard work and determination paid off when she graduated with honors in Law, becoming one of the few individuals in her community to attain a higher education degree. Doreen is now well-equipped to pursue a career in the legal field, where she aims to advocate for the rights of the marginalized and underserved populations in Uganda. 

These scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, and other essential expenses, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the students’ academic aspirations.
