ABOUT US
OUR STORY
PAD originated in 2014 as a small fellowship program known as PEER Teens, initiated by PEER Servants under the umbrella of CAFECC (Christian Action for Empowering Church and Communities). Starting with just six members, our primary goal was to strengthen the youth spiritually, learn and minister the word of God, and make a positive impact in our communities. Anchored by the guiding verse 1st Timothy 4:12, we aimed to set an example for believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Over the years, our activities have expanded to encompass various ministries, including hospital evangelism, home visits, church and school engagements, Child Development Centers, door-to-door ministries, youth conferences, and camps across the West Nile region.
OUR VISION
PAD envisions a future where we identify and empower youth by providing them with essential skills and opportunities that unlock their full potential. Our commitment extends to supporting the livelihoods of vulnerable communities, all while prioritizing the well-being and growth of our young people through innovative and affordable solutions.
OUR MAIN OBJECTIVE
Our primary objective at PAD is to facilitate holistic transformation for youth and disadvantaged communities. This encompasses a multifaceted approach that includes providing comprehensive training, empowerment programs, and exposure to innovative solutions that can bring about life-changing outcomes. We strive to bring about meaningful and sustainable change that not only uplifts individuals but also strengthens communities as a whole
OUR TEAM
Influential leader Gift Agani has played a pivotal role in the transformation of Peers In Action for Development (PAD). Nominated as one of the PEER Servants Ambassadors through the 2022 Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) Program, Gift seized the opportunity to fulfill his kingdom dream. His vision was to elevate the impact of the PEER Teens Ministry by transforming it from a fellowship program into a legal entity, thus enabling a more extensive and lasting influence. Gift’s dream extends beyond organizational boundaries. He aspires to see PAD’s reach expand across various regions in Uganda, aiming to empower numerous youths to make positive impacts in their communities. Gift envisions a future where the energy of the youth is channeled towards responsibilities, recognizing the immense potential they hold to effect significant change. With this visionary leadership, PAD continues to grow, driven by a commitment to youth empowerment, community development, and the realization of a brighter, more impactful future.
